Britney Spears Whips Out Her “I Wanna Go” Video Teaser

We knew Britney Spears was said to be unleashing her inner wild child in her “I Wanna Go” video, but what exactly does that mean? The short video teaser released last night gives us some clues: Brit standing on the hood of a yellow taxi cab in front of a marquis displaying the (fictitious, sadly) film Crossroads 2: Cross Harder using her microphone as a whip to bash the surrounding paparazzi in the face! Tells us how you really feel about the photogs that chase you down, Brit! Watch below.

Given the somber tone of Lady Gaga’s “The Edge Of Glory” video (especially in the wake of her co-star Clarence Clemons’ untimely death) and the edgy bite of Beyonce’s “Run The World (Girls)” visual, we’re in need of something a bit more tongue in cheek from the current crop of pop divas. Of course, Katy Perry’s “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)” vid more than fills that slot.

How will Britney’s Chris Marrs Piliero-directed “I Wanna Go” compare? We’ll have to wait till Wednesday to find out (unless, of course, the video leaks sooner). Until then, here’s the short tease:
