Listen To Coldplay’s New Song “Major Minus”

Coldplay debuted their new tune “Major Minus”, from their forthcoming fifth studio LP, during their headlining gig at Germany’s Rock Am Ring fest earlier this month. On the heels of the band’s set at Glastonbury (which will be broadcast for US residents for the first time ever) comes the studio recording of their new song. Listen to “Major Minus” below!

Coldplay – “Major Minus”

The song begins with an acoustic guitar, and gets louder and faster as Chris Martin comes in on vocals: “You got one eye on what you knew / And one eye on what you do / So be careful what it is you’re trying to do.”

The song is is being released in the UK with “Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall” and “Moving To Mars” as a digital EP on June 26. Us Yanks will have to suffice listening to the songs via YouTube til we get our own release date.

Coldplay’s Glastonbury appearance will air on VH1 this Saturday night at 10 PM.
