Kanye West & Jay-Z’s ‘Watch The Throne’ Not Being Released On July 4
Turns out we’ll not be celebrating Independence Day by cruising the city and blasting Kanye West and Jay-Z’s much-anticipated collaborative project Watch The Throne from our speakers. Speculation that the record would be out July 4 — i.e. this coming Monday — reached an Auto-Tuned fever pitch yesterday, but VH1 has declared those reports to be D.O.A. “We spoke to sources close to Jay-Z‘s management team earlier today who have direct knowledge of the album’s release plans, and they confirmed that the rumored July 4th release date is ‘not happening,” says the site’s blog. Sigh. Alright, who wants to go blow something up with firecrackers?
