Good news for Demi Lovato fans — we’ll all be able to hear her new single “Skyscraper” a day earlier than expected! The track’s video will premiere this Wednesday, July 13, exclusively on E! News and E! Online, accompanied by an interview with Ryan Seacreast that hopefully updates us on how the teen star is faring after a stint in rehab. The video was directed by Mark Pellington, who has previously shot for artists like Michael Jackson and Pearl Jam. Find out more about the single and the vid after the jump.

According to a press release, “Skyscraper” is an “emotionally resonant” song about “Lovato’s personal journey of overcoming challenges by staying strong and believing in herself.” Sounds like the perfect track to release while she’s on the mend and in a period of transition in her career after exiting “Sonny With A Chance,” the Disney show that put her on the map.

“Skyscraper” will debut July 13 at 7pm EST on E!, then hit Vevo the next day. It’s the first single from a new LP to drop this fall.
