Marina And The Diamonds’ Electra Heart saga continues. After shedding her locks in Part 1’s “Fear And Loathing” video, the Welsh winger dons a blonde bob as she embarks on a journey across the USA with her lover in Part 2’s “Radioactive”, produced by Stargate. Their road trip adventures are a little less risque than that of Mickey and Mallory or Bonnie and Clyde – it’s more like watching Ke$ha on the lam. But she still makes us want to chuck our responsibilities and join the fun. Watch below.

Marina And The Diamonds – “Radioactive”

“When you’re around me, I’m radioactive / My blood is burning, radioactive,” she sings. “My heart is nuclear / Love is all that I feel / Ready to be let down / Now I’m heading for a meltdown.”

The lyrics are a bit more on-the-nose than her previous material, and the dancefloor vibe much more leaning towards current mainstream club-friendly jams than anything we’ve heard before. But the girl deserves to get her name out there, and working with the notable producing team of Stargate (Rihanna’s “Rude Boy”, Katy Perry’s “Firework”, among others) is one pretty darn good way to do it.
