We hope you took our advice to get in line early and were one of the lucky 1200 people to attend Justin Timberlake’s free performance at NYC’s Irving Plaza last night. The Emmy award-winning crooner took the stage at 11pm last night following FreeSol (who are signed to JT’s Tennman Records label). Below watch the Friends With Benefits star as he returns to his musical roots with “Like I Love You” and an acoustic rendition of “Cry Me A River”.

“Like I Love You”:

According to People, the former N*SYNC member told the crowd, “I’m getting too old for this,” after finishing this tune. No, Justin — you’re not. Stop trying to come up with excuses for not giving us more music!

“Cry Me A River”:

During his hour-long set JT also performed “What Goes Around”, “Dead and Gone” and reprised his Rolling Stones’ “Miss You” cover (with help from FreeSol) from the night before.
