Fair-to-negative reviews be damned, people are picking up Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV like crazy, baby. Initial projections had Weezy’s LP selling around 700,000 – 850,000 units in its first week, but the latest report from HITS Daily Double indicates that he’ll be this shy of hitting one million. The “How To Love” MC has already broken the record for iTunes single-week album sales, moving 300,000 digital units in its first four days of release. If you’re paying attention, that’s 10k more than Watch The Throne. Might be time for Jay-Z and Kanye to abdicate.
