For the past three weeks we’ve been highlighting details on some of the upcoming season’s most anticipated releases with our Fall Music Preview, and today we have something more for your ears rather than your eyes — a stream of Jason Derulo’s sophomore album Future History, ahead of its arrival next week (September 27). You can pre-order an autographed Deluxe Edition of the CD here. Now, hop below to listen to Jason’s latest in full.

For his first Future History single “Don’t Wanna Go Home,” Jason turned to The Fliptones for production work. The 22-year-old pop/R&B crooner (his birthday is today, so give him some love on Twitter) also worked with his mentor J.R. Rotem on tracks like the cautionary “Be Careful”, the slightly dubstep-infused “Pick Up The Pieces”, and “Dumb,” a somber ballad that finds Jason lamenting, “My love’s still here, but you’re not there / You broke my heart, you don’t care.”

Second single “It Girl” was produced by Emanuel “Eman” Kiriakou, while “Givin’ Up” is a guitar-and-synth-driven mid-tempo jam co-produced by RedOne, BeatGeek and Geo Slam. And DJ Frank E (Enrique Iglesias’ “Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You)”) was behind the boards for the dramatic “Bleed Out”.

Give Future History an early listen, and then let us know your thoughts on the album in the comments below, or on Twitter and Facebook.
