Ty Pennington and the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition crew headed to Fayetteville, North Carolina on last night’s season premiere episode, to help rebuild the Steps N Stages Jubilee House, a shelter that provides counseling for homeless female military veterans. And none other than “We Found Love” songstress/part time Navy officer Rihanna showed up to lend her support by listening to some of the vets stories and auctioning off a stack of tickets to benefit Jubilee House. Watch RiRi’s surprise appearance below.

Turns out Extreme Makeover: Home Edition wasn’t the only place Rihanna has popped up lately. The singer was recently snapped in a field in Northern Ireland while shooting her video for “We Found Love.”
