‘Beavis And Butt-head’ Trailer: Finally, Some Classy Television!

Bumbling Texas teens Beavis and Butt-head are back to riff on modern-day pop culture in all new episodes of Mike Judge’s animated series, which first aired on MTV from 1993 to 1997, and returns to the cable network this month. And if the new trailer for the show is anything to go by, the boys have had no trouble adjusting to the new decade. “How come chicks like that vampire crap?” Butt-head asks in a school class. We also see the pair contract Hepatitis C after being bitten by a homeless man. Says Beavis, “Well, let’s go get some girls.” Watch below. Our favorite part in the preview for the new Beavis And Butt-head: while watching the girls on Jersey Shore make a “hook-up chart” on a chalkboard, Butt-head quips, “If they, like, did this chart long enough, they could find out where herpes began.”

Just when we were getting worried that MTV considered Jersey Shore and 16 And Pregnant to be high-brow entertainment, along come these two knuckleheads (again) to put everything in its right place.

Beavis And Butt-head premieres at 10 p.m. on October 27. Will you be watching?
