Over the past week, an unreleased, Christina Aguilera-esque Britney Spears track surfaced, Rihanna revealed the name of her upcoming sixth studio album, Willow Smith and Nicki Minaj’s new single “Fireball” exploded and we got our first taste of American Idol runner-up Lauren Alaina’s debut album. The world also lost one of its leading technology innovators, Steve Jobs. Head below to see how our readers reacted to all this pop shuffle. :: luvadam was full of amore on Kelly Clarkson Sings Adam Lambert’s Praises On UK Chart Show: “Luv and agree with all of Kelly’s comments about my fav artist, but don’t hear raspy when I hear Adam sing, I hear clear and pure, and a range that has not been paralled in any previous listening experience before Adam. He has got it all, character, charisma, humility, enduring style and grace, think his star will keep on rising, and I sure want to watch, and listen.”

:: Yeah said “yes” to Kelly’s comments, as well: “I agree with Kelly. As a Glambert, I love every part of Adam’s voice. Yes, Adam can have a clear tone when he wants, but he can also have a rasp and growl to his voice too. It’s not a bad or mean comment! At the end of his ‘Play that Funky Music’ on AI, he was belting and growling those last few notes of the song. I loved it!”

:: James talked trash on Rihanna Will Talk That Talk On Sixth Album: “Tired of this no talent ho”

:: RYK101 called James out for being a rude boy, though: “yet you are the first one commenting, thank you for your interest but as she’d say ‘talk that talk’ while she keeps slaying and making millions :)”

:: Cary liked what she heard on Listen To Lauren Alaina’s Wildflower Album Snippets: “As Lauren continues with her career, she will grow and become more comfortable and begin to cut loose. Let’s al remember that she is 16 years old and not a lot of life experiences.”

:: ZMH had a heavy heart on Steve Jobs, Dead At 56, Remembered By Pop Stars: “I was shocked, and then sad. His technology changed so many people’s lives, and the way we work. You’ll be missed steve. RIP.”

:: And we couldn’t agree more with the dude‘s sentiment: “*&%$ cancer”

:: Lee Lithophilous felt a certain Barb was all wet on Willow Smith Ready To Unleash “Fireball” Single With Nicki Minaj:” nicki minaj should be ashamed of herself”

:: britley fears heard more of a beast than a beauty on Britney Spears’ Unreleased Track “Everyday” Sounds “Beautiful”:” thank g-d she didn’t release this. she sounds horrid and the music sounds like they tried to recreate ‘beautiful’ using a cheap casio and a ballerina music box.”

:: Alex thought the song sounded monstrous: “Oh wow total ‘Beautiful’ rip-off. She shouldn’t release ballads because she’ll have to stop and sing for them. She can’t dance like her dance pop songs for ballads. Her retarded fan’s excuse for her not singing live is cause she’s dancing and what not. Well with ballads tha bitch ain’t moving so she should sing, but she doesn’t. She lipsycned Everytime.”

:: Starscream42 thought Britney should stick to the dance-pop: “One can sing ‘Beautiful’ alongside ‘Everyday’ and they would harmonize…same chord changes. That’s a clue that “Everyday” certainly is a ripoff. It’s the melody that counts, not the lyrics. Both are beautiful songs, and Britney does a creditable job, but Christina has the chops. ‘Nuff said!”
