Blake Shelton has been workin’ too hard, but he’s not quite ready to punch his card — the Voice coach and AMA nominee stopped by Dancing With The Stars last night to thrill the ballroom dance-adoring crowd with his cover of Kenny Loggins’ “Footloose”, the title track of the new remake. The performance starts with the movie’s stars, Kenny Wormald and DWTS‘ own Julianna Hough, elegantly dancing to what may be the worst interpretation of “Holding Out For A Hero” that we’ve ever heard. (Really, it is.) Blake thankfully busts out right after, turning the dancefloor into one heck of a country jamboree. Kick off your Sunday shoes and watch below!

Footloose opens this Friday October 14, and if you were suspicious of remakes, it’s got a 75% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Not an embarrassing rating at all! Who would’ve thunk?
