We always knew Nicki Minaj was a real-life cartoon, but artist Francesco Vezzoli has turned her into a piece of classical art in the “Super Bass” rapper’s latest photo shoot for W magazine. Nicki, styled by Edward Enninful, was transformed into “an 18th-century courtesan” — specifically, Marquise de Montespan, Comtesse du Barry, Madame de Pompadour, and Madame Rimsky-Korsakov.  “My idea was to reproduce four iconic portraits of some of the most fascinating females of the past in a series starring an American pop-culture role model,” says Vezzoli. We’d happily hang any of these on our wall, how about you?
