T.I. Promotes His Book And Sober Living On ‘The View’
T.I. is getting in good with the ladies recently — first it was Taylor Swift, then Ke$ha, and now the rapper has sidled up next to the talking femme heads of The View. T.I. discussed life in prison, his new outlook on life, and promoted his new novel Power & Beauty: A Love Story Of Life On The Streets, which hits stores today. Watch his introspective interview below.
Tip, who’s wasted little time in flexin’ since re-joining free society, struck a humble note in the interview, acknowledging responsibility for the actions that led him to prison twice in two years. And he says he’s found new clarity: “I’ve accepted in order to have a different result, you have to take a different approach… which is staying clean and sober.”
“I understand why people are so critical of me,” he added. “Nobody is tougher on me than I am on myself.”
