‘American Idol’ Is Wasting No Time Promoting Season 11
American Idol‘s eleventh season doesn’t premiere until January 22, 2012, but it’s never too early to start reminding audiences that their unquenchable thirst for singing reality competition shows can be satiated with the return of America’s favorite one. (At least according to ratings — Idol still towers The Voice and The X Factor, though it will be interesting to see how much The Voice sinks or skyrockets during its second season.) Check out all three judges, as well as a suited-up Ryan Seacrest, glow in the show’s new promo below.
In the promo, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler, Randy Jackson and Ryan Seacrest encounter potential pop stars they find on the street, and wave ’em over to come on down to the Idol auditions. You know, just like real life.
Hopefully whoever wins Season 11 turns out to be more Scotty and less Lee.
