In preparation for the wedding event of the year (sorry Will and Kate!), the video for Christina Perri’s guitar-driven  “A Thousand Years” from the Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 soundtrack has premiered. Placed between scenes from the film of Edward and Bella’s wedding are shots of the “Arms” songbird surrounded by what we assume are a thousand candles. (A metaphor for every year she has loved the man she’s singing to, perhaps?) Hop below to watch the “Jar Of Hearts” singer as she carries a handful of tealights.

Christina Perri – “A Thousand Years”

“I have died everyday waiting for you / Darling don’t be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years.” We imagine this song will score the first dance at every upcoming Twihards’ wedding.

Tell us your thoughts on Christina’s new video in the comments.
