Lady Gaga Forms Born This Way Foundation
Lady Gaga continues her crusade against bullying and low self-esteem by forming her own foundation. The pop star and her mother, Cynthia Germonatta, have joined forces to create the Born This Way Foundation (BTWF), which will support programs and initiatives that deal with aspects of empowering youth.
“Together we hope to establish a standard of bravery and kindness, as well as a community worldwide that protects and nurtures others in the face of bullying and abandonment,” said Gaga. Her non-profit charitable organization will address issues like self-confidence, well-being and anti-bullying, and will focus on the use of digital media to promote positive change.
No matter black, white or beige, chola or orient-made, you have to respect a pop star who tries to change the world for the better in as many ways as possible.
