‘Glee’ Continues Its Love Of Lady Gaga, Covers “You And I”

After brilliantly mashing up Adele’s songs, Glee is returning to its unofficial musical mascot, Lady Gaga, for its next divine mash-up: Mr. Schuester and rival show choir director Shelby duet on Gaga’s Nebraska-adoring “You And I”, cut together with Eddie Rabbitt and Crystal Gayle’s 1982 single of the same name. The number will be featured in Tuesday’s “Mash Up” episode — though we doubt neither Matthew Morrison nor Idina Menzel will be dolled up like a mermaid while singing it. (Couldn’t hurt Morrison to grow some sideburns and light up a cigarette, though.) Track below.

Is it just us, or did you think this was Rachel singing with Mr. Schue at first? Idina Menzel and Lea Michele are truly twins born 15 years apart.
