Justin Bieber’s Under The The Mistletoe has slid off the peak position on Billboard‘s Top 200 album chart in the wake of Mac Miller’s debut with Blue Slide Park. Nineteen-year-old Pittsburgh rapper Miller sees his first LP go in at #1 with first-week sales of 144,000, which, Billboard notes, makes him the first artist to top the main album chart with an independently-distributed debut since Tha Dogg Pound’s Dogg Food, in 1995. With Bieber’s holiday effort now bumped down to #6 and Michael Buble’s festive Christmas up to #2, this leaves the latest NOW hits compilation and the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 soundtrack — which contains such tracks as Bruno Mars’ “It Will Rain” and Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years” — to enter at #3 and #4, respectively.

Fueled by his Usher duet “Promise”, Romeo Santos’ solo album Formula, Vol. 1 pops in at #9. The Top 10 is rounded out by Wicked Game, the sixth album from the Simon Cowell-managed international vocal group Il Divo. (It’s the crooners’ fifth Top 10 LP in the States overall.)

Looking ahead, expect Drake’s sophomore album Take Care to shake the current players up next week. Not only is it the top album on iTunes, the Rihanna-assisted title track is also the digital store’s top song. As far as physical copies go, Take Care is #3 on Amazon’s best-seller list.
