Wearing a beaded and feathered see-through dress and brandishing a darker-than-usual hair color, Kylie Minogue made an appearance on The X Factor in her home country of Australia, where she performed with contestant Reece Mastin. The pop diva, whose Aphrodite Les Folies concert DVD arrives next week (November 29) also belted out a piano-only rendition of her 1988 classic “I Should Be So Lucky”. An appetizer before her upcoming album of orchestral and acoustic versions of past hits, perhaps? Watch below. Kylie Minogue — “I Should Be So Lucky” on The X Factor

“I’ve been at Abbey Road for about two weeks in total,” Kylie revealed during a New Music Sessions event in London recently. “Next year’s my 25th anniversary so we’ve been recording acoustic and orchestral versions of a number of my hits.”

To get her followers revved up for her pop milestone, Minogue tweeted the following today: “Yes, say hello to the #K25 logo for my 25th anniversary in music next year!”

Tres chic, Kylie. We’re also feeling the brunette look!
