Willow Smith & Nicki Minaj Unleash Their “Fireball” Video

Idolator interviewee Willow Smith premiered her Nicki Minaj-featuring, Hype Williams-directed “Fireball” video on BET’s 106 & Park, and also revealed the name of her debut album during her visit: the LP is titled Knees & Elbows, and will drop April 3, 2012. (“Everybody falls down and scratches their knees and elbows, but eventually they get back up,” explained Willow, who we seriously doubt has ever truly hit bottom in her 11 years on Earth.) Feel the heat below.

The epic video begins with Star Wars-style credits floating through space, leading into an intergalactic fireball headed straight to Earth. The fireball, of course, turns out to be Willow, strutting down an empty sidewalk while her backup dancers busy themselves elsewhere. Soon, the 11-year-old star leads a pack of people gettin’ down in the middle of the street, showing us all the moves she learned in her dance company.

Midway through the video, Nicki Minaj shows up, looking like she was on her way to a rave in the Harajuku district.

(We’ll of course replace this version filmed off a television screen as soon as a HQ video surfaces.)
