Life on the road is tough for a musician, and in Gym Class Heroes’ new video for their single “Ass Back Home”, the pop-rock group shows how a hectic touring schedule can really do a number on a relationship. Travie McCoy takes off away from his on-screen lady love Neon Hitch (who also provides the hook), and luckily for them, absence only makes the heart grow fonder. If you’re far from the one you love, you’ll probably be able to relate to the video, which you can watch below.

“‘Ass Back Home’ is all about trying to keep a relationship going while we’re all out on the road all the time,” McCoy told about the Benny Blanco-produced single from The Papercut Chronicles II. “The song was actually inspired by Matt’s [drummer] relationship with his girlfriend and realizing why he is so Zen on the road.”
