2012 is bound to be a big one for Janelle Monae, as the spunky, soulful singer is planning to tour after she drops not one, but two new albums. (“I will release them according to my soul clock,” said Monae.) Remind yourself why you can’t get enough of this 26-year-old funk madame by grooving to her performances at the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony in Oslo, Norway after the jump. (It certainly brings us peace to know that an artist this awesome is being celebrated all over the world.)

Monae busted out her ArchAndroid singles “Tightrope”and “Cold War”, in addition to Jackson 5 fave “I Want You Back”. The tux-wearing woman also performed alongside the likes of Ellie Goulding, Sugarland and Jill Scott for the big, inspiring ensemble number “Move Up”.
