In news that should surprise no one, Justin Bieber has earned the honor of 2011’s Most Popular Person (in pop culture) according to Google searches, with Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj also finding a place in the Top 5. Selena Gomez needn’t feel too overshadowed by her oft-Googled boyfriend, however — she came in at #6, with Amy Winehouse also showing well at #9. Meanwhile, on Google Zeitgeist’s “Fastest Rising List,” Rebecca Black was the big champion thanks to her viral sensation “Friday,” holding court with such fine company as Casey Anthony, Osama bin Laden, and Hurricane Irene.  See the full lists below.
