Scissor Sisters promised to whet our appetites for their new album today, and indeed they have. “Shady Love”, the deliciously sleazy new jam from the glam trash act’s new album, is a departure that finds Jake Shears & Co. toying with electro experiments and rap verses. Produced by Boys Noize (their recent mixtape partner), the song features vocals from New York singer/actress Azealia Banks, who co-wrote the tune. Watch the trippy/adorable video for their new single below.

Warning: the Hiro Murai-directed “Shady Love” video feels like the climax of Little Miss Sunshine spiked with LSD. Can we ask Murai to work with Shears on the Fraggle Rock movie?
