Lil Wayne To Write Prison Memoir

Lil Wayne wasn’t exactly off the radar during his eight-month prison sentence at Rikers Island, thanks to his frequently updated blog Weezy Than You, his stash of quickly-filmed music videos, as well as his various call-ins and think-pieces on tennis. Although he managed to stay present while incarcerated, we haven’t heard much about his experience in prison — until now. The rapper will pen a memoir called Gone Till November, which will be based on the diary entries he composed while at Rikers. Recounting his time spent behind bars will no doubt be taxing on Weezy, but he can take a break from reliving the past when shooting his online sports show. [Via Pitchfork]
