The Grammy Awards haven’t had a host since Queen Latifah took up the chore in 2004 — and those are some mighty diva-sized shoes to fill. But the RIAA feels that LL Cool J is up to the challenge. After all, the pioneering MC cut his teeth by hosting The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!! every year from the get-go, in 2008. “I’m thrilled to be part of Music’s Biggest Night,” said LL Cool J in a statement. “I will always have fond memories of my first GRAMMY Awards and to now be hosting the GRAMMY show, in the company of so many other incredible artists, is a dream come true. Great performances and great music — it’s gonna be a great night!” [Grammy.org]
