If Nicki Minaj’s head-scratching, eyebrow-raising “Stupid Hoe” antics are getting a little tiring lately, Azealia Banks is happy to be your go-to female rapper of the moment. The rising MC was personally invited by world-famous designer Karl Lagerfeld to perform at an exclusive launch party held at his house during Paris Fashion Week. Catch the Harlem-based rapper spitting rhymes about her area code in her “212” performance below.
In true posh fashion, Banks performed after all the guests were presented with iPads bearing the silouette of Karl Lagerfeld. (We love that Azealia’s outfit pays tribute to the host of the evening, too.)
Azealia Banks is scheduled to rock the desert this April for two consecutive weekends at Coachella.
