We’ve been racking our brains trying to decipher the title of Wiz Khalifa’s upcoming album O.N.I.F.C., and whatever terrible meaning we came up with (Outrageous Names Inspire Fabulous Choices? Only Nougat In Fun-size Crunch bars? ) was nowhere near what the acronym actually stands for. “It’s the Only N-Word in First Class,” Wiz explained during his appearance on “Sway in the Morning” on Shade 45. “It’s inspired by [Mobb Deep’s] Prodigy’s H.N.I.C. When he dropped that, I felt like that sounded so strong.”

H.N.I.C. stands for “Head N**** In Charge,” for those wondering. If Wiz has any fans who don’t want to buy an album that references the N-Word, there’s a clean version of the LP as well, with an equally clean title: One Night in First Class.

“I was just talking about me being a young rich dude and being black,” the MC said of his time spent traveling in airports. “It looks crazy to [airline staff] when I walk up to them and show them my ticket or I’m going in priority seating, They’re like ‘You’re sure?'”

It’s an interesting choice of title, symbolizing both the good side (the ability to fly first class) and the bad side (being racially stereotyped) of fame. “It’s a good feeling and then it’s like a bad feeling because it’s like, ‘Damn, why do you feel like that about me?'”

There’s no set release date for Wiz’s sophomore LP, which includes production by Pharrell and cameos by Chris Brown and Adam Levine.
