After a multi-year absence and a long battle with Graves’ disease, Missy Elliott is ready to reign again. Last year the MC popped up on J.Cole’s “Nobody’s Perfect”, Demi Lovato’s “All Night Long” and Katy Perry’s “Last Friday Night (TGIF)” remix, and now MTV reports that Elliott’s long-delayed album Block Party will drop this June.

“Me and Missy are both coming with our albums at the same time, and it will be in June,” her longtime collaborator and friend Timbaland told MTV. “Right now, we’re preparing to get both our videos, our first singles, shot kinda at the same time. We want to do it as a movement and spontaneously.”

Block Party will be Missy’s seventh studio album, and her first release since 2005’s The Cookbook. Timbaland’s upcoming LP will be his follow-up to 2009’s Shock Value II.
