Adele’s Fourth ’21’ Single Will Be “Rumour Has It”
Though there’s no denying the emotional power of “Rolling In The Deep” and “Someone Like You”, but Adele’s “Rumour Has It” has always been one of our favorite tunes on 21. And now the bluesy-pop send-off song will be the Grammy winner‘s next single. The song’s producer and co-writer Ryan Tedder revealed the news to Billboard on the Grammy red carpet, saying, “I’m very excited about it.” Now that the fourth single is all set, can we expect the video for third single “Set Fire To The Rain” to drop sooner than later, or will we just make do with this pretty great fake version?
“Rumour Has It” has already been covered on Glee in a mash-up with Adele’s other single “Someone Like You”, and now the song will be covered on Smash’s upcoming fourth episode. Watch Katharine McPhee turn the Brit singer’s tune into a whole new fist-pumping club-banger in a preview below.
