It looks like John Mayer is feeling a lot better these days. After suffering from vocal cord inflammation and a condition called granuloma that forced him to cancel gigs in late 2010, the “Battle Studies” crooner has released a 60-second clip of his new song, “Shadow Days” via Tumblr. “Shadow Days” will be the first single off his fifth studio album, Born and Raised, which will drop sometime this year. “I’m excited to share the first bit of sound from the album,” Mayer wrote. “Been looking forward to post like this since October 14, 2010, the first day I started writing the group of songs. Enjoy.”
