Justin Bieber And His Umbrella Do Anti-Texting PSA For PhoneGuard: Watch

In a new anti-texting-and-driving PSA for PhoneGuard’s DriveSafe app, a carload of teenage girls is barreling down a wet road and nearly runs over Justin Bieber because — you guessed it — they were all too busy typing away on their phones. (Probably not the kind of “smash” he wants to experience! ) Luckily the Bieb and his trusty umbrella are unscathed, which is less than we can say for the over-excited teens. They scream the entire time the “Live My Life” singer tries to deliver his responsible message to them. Wise up below!

To be honest, we’re not sure if the message here is that you shouldn’t drive and text, or that Bieber can never get a word in edgewise because there are always screaming girls wherever he goes.

Maybe when our ears stop ringing we’ll figure it out.
