Glee creator Ryan Murphy has previously dabbled in film projects — he directed Julia Roberts in 2010’s Eat Pray Love — but now he’s ready to bring his musical stylings to the big-screen. Murphy will direct the star-studded musical One Hit Wonders, and has cast Beyonce in one of the roles. The story revolves around three fizzled-out singers — played by Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz and Glee regular Gwyneth Paltrow — who each had a big hit in the 1990s, and decide to stage a comeback by forming a supergroup. Andy Samberg will co-star, and The Lonely Island will be writing music for the film. It’s not known what Beyonce’s role will be, but let’s hope it doesn’t land her another spot on this list.
