The music world has lost quite a few of its most iconic stars in 2012, and today unfortunately marks another loss: the death of The Monkees’ singer Davy Jones, who passed away at the age of 66. Instead of focusing on the passing of one of the industry’s first teen heartthrobs, we want to celebrate Jones’ legacy by highlighting some of the standout musical moments from his extensive career, both as a solo artist and as a member of The Monkees: his music videos, TV appearances and live performances, as well as two memorable cameos with The Brady Bunch, filmed decades apart.
