Last year Jay-Z surprised South By Southwest audiences at Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music show by making a guest appearance on stage with his Watch The Throne partner. Now Hova is heading back to Austin for a solo gig at this year’s SXSW fest. (Though don’t be surprised if he takes a cue from Kanye and brings out a special guest or two.) Blue Ivy’s dad will head up American Express’ Amex Sync Show Presenting Jay-Z on Monday, March 12. Even better: the gig will be stream live on YouTube that evening starting at 8 p.m. American Express is encouraging Twitter users to tweet their favorite song into the Sync show by using the hashtags #JayZSyncShow and #Song. The most requested cut will then be performed by the MC during his Austin gig.

MTV News is speculating that Eminem might just be the one to shock crowds who go to see Jay’s show next week by taking the stage with him. The pair previously teamed up in 2010 for their series of “Home” concerts.

The site also notes that a special rebroadcast of the show will be available on-demand from Tuesday, March 13, to Monday, March 19, on YouTube, Twitter and Xbox LIVE.
