Miguel continues his boundary-pushing Art Dealer Chic series, this time charging up his understated R&B with some ominous electric guitar riffs for new single “Arch & Point”, the first cut from Art Dealer Chic Vol. 2 EP. But lest you feel the offbeat singer is trying to cash in on The Hunger Games fever by penning a tune with an obvious bow and arrow reference, think again! “Baby, arch your back and point your toes,” he commands on the sexy slow jam. And that’s just what the scantily-clad dancer in the visual does.

Art Dealer Chic Vol. 2 signals that Miguel built his trilogy with a fusion of past and futuristic sounds blending R&B, rock and electronic tones. (You can grab the first edition free). All the material on the second volume was written and produced by Miguel himself, with co-production by the Fisticuffs and Troy NōKA.

Is the artist everyone called a “sure thing” still pointed in the right direction with this one? Let us know on Facebook, Twitter or in the comments.
