Frances Bean Cobain And Dave Grohl Respond To Courtney Love’s Twitter Accusations

Courtney Love has reached new epic heights of crazy, but this time the victims of her insane Twitter talk don’t include the fashion industry. The Hole singer recently accused Foo Fighers frontman (and former Nirvana member) Dave Grohl of hitting on her estranged daughter, Frances Bean Cobain. As this rumor is coming from Courtney’s Love indecipherable Twitter feed, you should already be rolling your eyes. But Dave and Frances have still decided to deny that any such hook-up or attempt-to-hook-up has taken place (other than in Courtney Love’s mind).

Here’s what Courtney (on her private account @cbabymichelle) wrote on Twitter. Hope you or someone you know is a cryptologist! (By the way, while she was tweeting @davegrohl, that’s not his Twitter handle — @FooFightersDave is, and his account has remained inactive for three years. @davegrohl is a German IT student whose account has been inactive for four years. Different people!)

“I hear from frannies roommate that @davegrohl hit on frances, and that she was curious, I’m not mad at her, him I am about to shoot, dead.”

“The driver from the cm who drove @davegrohl my daughter was telling me what st. on laurel canyon and that he had his hands all over her.”

And one more we can barely decipher: “It could be a riumnour [sic] the actual sex, and it’s not beans fault she’s not slutty in any way, at all, HES OBSESSED.”

Oh, there’s more. LOTS MORE.

Dave Grohl quickly responded to Courtney’s tweets via his publicist: “Unfortunately Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant. These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue.”

And even Frances Bean, who filed a restraining order against her mother in 2009, is enraged enough to comment. “While I’m generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I’m in a monogamous relationship and very happy.”

And as one last zing, she adds: “Twitter should ban my mother.”
