Usher is ready to make you cry out with his new single “Scream”, off his forthcoming album, Looking For Myself. The club-thumping tune will drop in full tomorrow (April 26) at 9 a.m. (Also keep a look out for the Rick Ross-sampling “Let Me See”, which should be coming any minute now.) First we get “Climax”, and now “Scream”? Clearly, Usher’s track listing is going to be hot and heavy. Preview the tune below.

Usher – “Scream” (Snippet)

Whereas “Climax” was a slow and subtle breath of fresh air, “Scream” sounds like pretty much everything we’ve heard on the radio the past year or so. Unless there are some unexpected twists and turns not showcased in this 22-second preview, this one sounds like a yawn. That said, we have no doubt it will chart fairly well. This is Usher we’re talking about.

Usher’s Looking For Myself is due June 12.
