The Voice may be roaring toward its Season 2 finale, but let us not forget that Cee Lo Green‘s Season 1 protege Vicci Martinez has a new EP, Come Along, out today, ahead of the June 19 release of her debut LP Vicci. Martinez, who came in third on the series last year, will return to her old stomping grounds of The Voice this evening for a performance. Ahead of that, jump below to hear “Come Along”, her duet with her old pal Cee Lo.

“Come Along” was originally recorded by Swedish artist Titiyo in 2001, but Martinez took an instant shine to the song — particularly because of its timely lyrics.

“I think the lyrics are really important for people today, for all of us but especially for our generation,” says Vicci. “We can break the cycle and habits that our society has been stuck in. It is a time of evolution, evolving into our divine, most perfect self. I feel this is a step that I’ve been trying to take and by singing this song, I’m asking everyone else to come along with me and take a stand.”
