Azealia Banks Reveals ‘1991’ EP Cover Art, Release Date
For those disappointed that Azealia Banks‘ 1991 EP had its release date pushed back recently, the rapstress offered up a surprise last night when she tweeted, “MY EP ‘1991’ WILL BE RELEASED DIGITALLY ON MAY 29th and PHYSICALLY ON JUNE 12th!” Banks then produced the cover art, which depicts her while wearing a hat and apparently topless, with gloved arms covering the Azealia essentials.
1991 will be followed by the mixtape Fantastic, which contains the track “Jumanji” and will be released sometime this summer. Azealia’s full-length debut LP Broke With Expensive Taste is due out sometime in the fall.
