Soul legend Bobby Womack is prepping the release of his first album of original songs in almost two decades, The Bravest Man In The Universe, and he’s tapped some modern-day talent for his anticipated LP. Lana Del Rey climbs on board the jazzy, downtempo tune “Dayglo Reflection” to duet with the singer, who described working with the “Blue Jeans” artist as “two people in a church.” “She’s one of a kind,” Womack said of Del Rey to NME. “I’ve never sung with a girl like that before.” Listen to their holy union below.

As for Lana’s solo efforts, the songstress recently had to cancel a concert in Tokyo due to illness. “Wish I could be with everyone in Tokyo but I’m really sorry I am sick,” she tweeted. “Thinking of you and I will come back soon.”

The Bravest Man In The Universe will be released June 12. The LP was produced by Richard Russell and Damon Albarn, who has previously worked with Womack on several tracks off the Gorillaz albums Plastic Beach and The Fall.
