Robyn’s “Call Your Girlfriend” Gets Covered By Two Cute Kids: Watch
Calling Ellen DeGeneres! There are two more singing children with viral hits ready and willing to be added to your music label or become frequent guests on your show. 12-year-old Lennon and 8-year-old Maisy uploaded a video of them performing an impressive cover of Robyn‘s single “Call Your Girlfriend”, and it’s not to be missed. The two sisters are actually performing the arrangement of female group Erato’s a capella, hand-clap and tub rendition of Robyn’s song, but hey, hats off to these two kiddos for pulling it off so well.
Though Lennon and Maisy do a great job — and they’ve got a whole lot more covers where that came from — our favorite non-Robyn performance of “Call Your Girlfriend” still goes to SNL’s Taran Killam, brilliantly reproducing the music video at 4:30 a.m. in a tiny writer’s room. But seriously, we wouldn’t be surprised if Lennon and Maisy are book on Ellen by tomorrow.
