Kanye West is making up for his no-show in The Throne’s “No Church In The Wild” video by appearing more than once in the clip for “Mercy”, off the forthcoming G.O.O.D. Music album, Cruel Summer. In the black-and-white vid, a camera pans back and forth in a parking garage as Kanye and his crew — Big Sean, Pusha T and 2 Chainz — give off some serious stares as they appear, disappear, reappear and multiply. A Lamborghini regally sits in the background… except when it doesn’t. The clip employs a clever concept (which reminds us of the camera tricks used in videos like Kylie Minogue‘s “Come Into My World”), but could have been utilized in a more exciting way. Still: that’s a whole lot of swag up there.
