Justin Bieber‘s journey “All Around The World” brought him to Mexico City on Monday (June 11) where the “Beauty And A Beat” singer continued his free concert series. After serenading Norway, Paris, London and Berlin the 18-year-old took some time to reflect backstage  before performing for a crowd of nearly 300,000 people. (To put that into perspective, Madison Square Garden —where JB performed in Never Say Never — only holds 20,000.)

Below, watch the Biebs’ personal message about why his show South Of The Border felt different.

“I never thought I could be loved this much…I can’t say how thankful I am,” the pop star shared via smartphone. Awww. Isn’t that the real reason why we love Justin? He never seems to lose sight of the fact that the people who made him a success are his Beliebers.

Following the show, he tweeted, “everything about tonight was special. it is everything we stand for. alot of emotions but it was worth it. 300,000 people. Te Amo MEXICO.”
