Rita Ora Performs An Acoustic Set For VEVO Lift

Rita Ora has one of those voices that sounds better stripped down than loaded up with production, as evidenced by her stellar acoustic set for VEVO Lift. The British singer delivered her debut single “R.I.P.”, a #1 hit in the UK, with just a guitar and drum kit backing her up. Head below to watch the Roc Nation signee’s acoustic performance of “Roc The Life”, another track off her debut album Ora (or possibly O.R.A.), due this September.

Rita Ora – “Roc The Life” (Acoustic)

Though she stuck to her own tunes for Vevo Lift, Ora, who performed for the first time on Good Morning America this morning (June 19), has been performing several covers lately, including Gotye‘s “Somebody That I Used To Know” and The Throne’s “No Church In The Wild.” How about her next cover be Cheryl Cole‘s “Call My Name”, a song she claims she was offered first, though Calvin Harris (who produced the song) says otherwise.
