Eva Simons: On The Road And Behind The Scenes, With LMFAO & RedOne

“Take Over Control” singer Eva Simons will probably concede that she’s just had the busiest six months of her life. Not only has the up-and-coming dance diva seen her career skyrocket this year, she’s also been wildly productive. “I got the chance to work with some creative people, very talented people,” the Dutch songstress notes in a behind-the-scenes video that showcases her activity in recent months. “I just worked with will.i.am. We did a song, ‘This Is Love’.” (Modest Eva skips mentioning that, oh, you know — “This Is Love” just happened to top the UK chart this summer.) She adds, “I worked with RedOne. He’s such a creative person, it’s insane.”

In fact, the RedOne explains in the clip above that his team found the recording process with Eva to be effortless. “Just in a week we did six songs that are so strong,” the producer reveals. “It’s a beautiful project that I’m really proud of.”

In the meantime, before the release of Simons’ new material, she toured with party rockers LMFAO — an experience she describes as being “so dope” — and can currently be found trekking around with the Identity Festival, as part of a roster that also includes Rye Rye, Paul Van Dyk and Nero.

“I’m gonna do some new stuff as well, new material,” Eva says about the Identity tour. “So if you’re not coming, that’s whack… you gotta come and check it out, because it’s gonna be off the chain.”
