Frank Ocean Performs “Pyramids”, Covers Prince’s “When You Were Mine” At The Wiltern In L.A.

Last night, on the same day as the physical release of Channel Orange, artist of the moment Frank Ocean offered up an hour-long show at the Wiltern in Los Angeles. On the stage behind him was a full wall of TV screens, and the set was peppered with cuts like “Pyramids”, “Super Rich Kids” (which featured a surprise cameo by Odd Future member Earl Sweatshirt) and the Prince cover “When You Were Mine”.

OC Weekly cited Frank for lacking much stage presence, physically (hey, it’s still the early days of his career, folks), but the publication also noted the following: “The deafening cheers of the crowd made this seem less like a Frank Ocean show, and more like a Beatles concert in 1965.” Watch some of Frank’s gig below.
