Lady Gaga has been traveling the globe with her Born This Way Ball since April 2012, selling out almost every show on a tour that spans multiple continents. And all that work appears to have paid off, as Gaga has been named the Top Female Touring Act of 2012 (so far) by Pollster. Head below to check out which acts made the Top 10. Hint: people sure do like seeing trippy, psychedelic visuals, as two Cirque Du Soleil shows and a Pink Floyd spectacular ranked pretty high up.

Pollstar’s Top 10 Ranking Tours of 2012

1. Roger Waters ($158.1 million)
2. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band ($79.9 million)
3. Cirque Du Soleil — Michael Jackson: IMMORTAL ($78.5 million)
4. Coldplay ($73.9 million)
5. Lady Gaga ($67.2 million)
6. Van Halen ($44.9 million)
7. Drake ($42.6 million)
8. Madonna ($42.1 million)
9. Paul McCartney ($40.1 million)
10. Cirque Du Soleil — Alegria ($38 million)

These figures are only for the first half of 2012. Bruce Springsteen is still The Boss, with his tour coming in #2 with nearly $80 million earned so far this year. And Michael Jackson‘s music continues to be a draw, with the King Of Pop’s Cirque Du Soleil show earning $78.5 million, making it the third-highest ranked tour of 2012.

We’re sure Gaga’s Born This Way Ball coming in fifth and Madonna‘s MDNA tour ranking eighth will no doubt inspire a flame war between their respective stans, but it’s worth noting that Gaga’s tour made $67.2 million between 31 separate shows, and Madonna earned $42.1 million in just twelve shows. There’s still a chance Madge could catch up with Gaga by the end of the year, though, honestly, it’s slight, especially now that she canceled the Australia leg of her tour.

That said, Gaga, Madonna and everyone else on the list dwarfs in comparison to Roger Waters, whose The Wall Live tour has earned an astounding $158.1 million this year in only 63 shows. Everyone bow to Pink Floyd!
