Christina Aguilera Weighs In On Britney Spears & Mariah Carey As TV Judges
Thanks mostly to The Voice, major stars serving as judges on singing competition shows is all the rage at the moment, with news of Mariah Carey‘s stint on American Idol following a wave of buzz for Britney Spears and Demi Lovato on The X Factor. So how does one of the original divas to kick off this trend feel about her competitors?
“It’s actually cool that all these strong women are joining the club, they’re going to have fun,” Christina Aguilera said of the craze in an interview with Extra, before launching into similar praise for Billie Joe Armstrong (who mostly sat there idly as she spoke). Sorry to those who like to dream of Xtina vs. Brit Brit catfights, but the Bionic pop tart had nothing but kind words for her former fellow Mouseketeer: “Britney’s so talented… she’s a pro.”
